Library Policies

1. To borrow materials, you must be listed in the church directory, or your name, address and phone number must be on file in the library.

2. Loan periods are three weeks for books, magazines, and video or cassette albums; and one week for single videos and cassettes. Longer loan periods may be arranged by request (for example, for teachers or Bible study leaders). Please make every effort to return or renew materials on time. We are not collecting fines at the present time, but donations will be accepted ($.25 a week).

3. The library will be staffed before and after Sunday services, although materials may be checked out at any time by following the posted procedure near the card catalog.

4. The library holdings are partially listed in a card catalog (by author), and are fully cataloged by computer. For a demonstration of either catalog, or for help in finding something, visit the library after a service, or contact Ginnie or Dave Peterson.

Note: although the materials in the Library generally conform to the doctrinal statement of the church, there may be some that differ in the details. These are provided as a means of education and understanding about different Christian issues. If something bothers you, or you have questions about the suitability of an item, please speak to the librarian or an elder.
