New in the Library
This biography of the well-known Christian singer shows that fame can lead to disastrous consequences in one's personal life, and that what a person appears like on the outside may hide a troubled spirit. Sandy deals honestly with her sin and the restoration process of her family.
A gift to the church from Cathy Schwab, this book tells in fictional form the strategy of Avant Ministries for short-cycle church planting. It proposes a different strategy than has been used in the past for mission church planting, one that concentrates on identifying and training leaders to do the work, as opposed to building up numbers of converts first.
This book, by a medical doctor, talks about handling the stress and distractions of our lives, and the necessity of having "margin" or "reserves", a buffer against overloading events to help keep ourselves in good shape mentally and physically in order to serve God effectively.
